We offer this piece in Level 1 ("Stealth") and Level 2 ("Pro") variants—one is about shy of 1/2" thick, the other is a full 1" thick. Aside from the Level/thickness differences, these have the same profile. See below of full specs. 

For most applications we prefer the Level 1 -- which is way better than Level Zero; and not as cumbersome as Level 2. But we'll never argue against more armor. It really comes down to what is comfortable, and what you'll wear every day.

This Viper Pro back protector is an industry standard, and comes stock in our own armored waxed cotton , and our . It also comes stock in every and just about every jacket we stock.
